Jupiter House, 50th Celebrations
Jupiter House marked Unipart’s 50th anniversary on Tuesday, with a two-part celebration that brought Unipart Rail colleagues together to acknowledge the company's past and future.
Reflecting on the Past
The event commenced with Neil McNicholas, Managing Director leading a retrospective on the company's history, taking everyone down memory lane. Interactive activities facilitated by Nichola White, Internal Communications and Employee Engagement Business Partner, with help facilitating from our EE forum members.
Activities and Engagement
Attendees enjoyed a video highlighting Unipart's 50-year journey and participated in a fastest-finger-first interactive quiz using the 50th Quiz questions, adding a competitive edge to the fun with Haribo prizes up for grabs. A coffee break offered time for networking, delicious cupcakes and photo booth fun.
Present and Future Focus
The focus shifted to Unipart's current state and the Unipart Way Forward Plan. A competitive "higher or lower" World Tour card game, featuring four teams identified by coloured chairs, kept the energy high with two rounds and a tie-breaker. A team basketball shootout further fueled the competitive spirit. A fish and chip lunch rounded off the day.
It was a fantastic 50th celebration and wonderful to see so many colleagues of Unipart Rail celebrating the achievement. As well as hearing about Unipart's past and the Unipart Way forward plan, much fun was had with the quizzes and games (I did come third) and of course the food was enjoyed by all.
A Successful Milestone
The 50th anniversary celebration at Jupiter House effectively acknowledged Unipart's legacy while fostering a sense of community and anticipation for what lies ahead. Happy 50th Unipart from all of us at Jupiter House!
