MetLase Celebrates Unipart's 50th
MetLase in Sheffield recently joined in the festivities marking Unipart's 50th anniversary, hosting a relaxed afternoon of camaraderie and games.
The event kicked off with an introduction and a viewing of the commemorative video. Attendees were then divided into teams for a Unipart-themed quiz, followed by a delicious lunch featuring wood-fired pizzas.
The afternoon continued with various garden games. Despite the weather necessitating an indoor move, the fun spirit prevailed. Limbo, cornhole, and Jenga proved especially popular among the 38 colleagues from MetLase, Unipart Construction Technologies, and UTG central who attended the three-hour session.
The event embraced a relaxed atmosphere, focusing on enjoyment rather than competition. This approach fostered a sense of camaraderie and connection among colleagues from across different Unipart divisions.
A Positive Experience
The MetLase celebration provided a unique way to mark Unipart's 50th anniversary, showcasing the company's commitment to fostering a positive and engaging work environment. As Unipart continues its journey, events like this serve as a reminder of the importance of celebrating milestones and building strong relationships among colleagues.
It was both an enjoyable and proud moment for us all to take time and reflect on Unipart’s 50-year history. The roadshow video captured really well how our company has continually grown and diversified - even through times of dodgy fashion and questionable hair cuts! Overall I think the event was inspiring for long-service and more recently joined colleagues to share stories and enjoy some fun games, with limbo showing just how flexible we can be!
