John Neill visits MetLase & UCT

Colleagues at MetLase and Unipart Construction Technologies had the opportunity this week to thank John Neill for his 50 years of leadership and wish him a happy retirement.
During the visit to Sheffield, hosted by Dave Allen, General Manager, Unipart Construction Technologies and Jonathan Hinchcliff, Operations Director, MetLase, John spent time with engineers and technical leads, discussing the latest projects, developments, and innovations that will drive future success and growth for Unipart.

It was fantastic to see John as passionate as ever talking to colleagues and discussing how The Unipart Way and the integration of the latest emerging technologies can ensure ongoing and incremental continuous improvement to support us to deliver our customer promise.
John's instrumental role in the formation and growth of both businesses was acknowledged during a gathering attended by all colleagues, during which he was presented with a commemorative cake and a MetLase laser-cut memento of his favourite car.
Reflecting on Unipart's achievements, John recognised the role Unipart people have played in helping Unipart to thrive as a global business for 50 years. He emphasised the importance of the technical and engineering skills in the room, and the increasingly important role they will play developing performance improvement technologies and solutions that will ensure Unipart continues to evolve over the next 50 years.

While looking forward to a well-deserved rest and time with his family, John, ever the salesman, hinted at his intention to continue promoting Unipart's unique portfolio to his industry networks - you can take the man out of Unipart… just don’t tell his wife.
We extend our thanks and best wishes to John for a long and happy retirement.
