John Neill visits Unipart Nuneaton

Unipart Nuneaton bids farewell to John Neill
This week, John Neill visited Nuneaton to bid farewell to colleagues prior to his retirement at the end of the month after an extraordinary 50 years of dedicated leadership.
Derek Skidmore, Senior Op Ex Manager, gave an overview of the day:
“We were delighted to have John visit us this week. David Cartwright, Operations Director, welcomed John and expressed his gratitude for John's unwavering commitment and passion throughout the years on behalf of everyone who works here
John then toured the site, visiting various departments and was greeted with smiles and handshakes from colleagues eager to express their admiration, reminisce about their time at Unipart and share fond stories of when their paths had crossed over the years.
As John spoke to the teams, he reflected on the challenges and triumphs of launching new products in Vodafone and McLaren, forging lasting partnerships with our customers. He encouraged us all to continue pushing boundaries and always put the customer first, making sure we fulfil our customer promise.
Finally, just before he left, colleagues gathered to give John a walk of honour, applauding him as he passed. John then joined in with the activities taking place for charity throughout the week to mark the 50th anniversary of the Unipart brand. He kindly donated to our chosen charity, the Royal British Legion, and played a few rounds of golf. He assured everyone he hadn't played before but then putted the ball on his first attempt so I’m not so sure!.
It was a fantastic and memorable day for everyone.”
