Learning at Work Week

Learning at Work Week (12 - 16 May) is a unique annual event to build learning cultures at work. It aims to put a spotlight on the importance and benefits of continual learning and development.

The 2025 theme is ‘Get connected’. It highlights the social aspect of lifelong learning at work with three aspects to consider:

To bring these activity strands alive in Unipart we will be hosting Market Stalls in several sites where we will:

• Showcasing the Career Progression Framework for “Connect and grow”.
• Demonstrating the various learning opportunities available in Unipart such as Gate to Great journeys, eLMS modules, Core Manuals and CPD modules for “Connect and inspire”. We will be launching the newly developed Learning Brochure which lists all the face to face and eLMS learning available from the Unipart Capability team.
• Highlighting inspirational stories of colleagues who have developed and grown, encouraging others to do the same for “Connect and share”

We will use development plans as the overarching activity that everyone can get involved with - running several drop-in sessions on How to Create A Development Plan (based on the eLMS module of the same name) throughout the week (see below).

As a takeaway activity we will offer origami butterflies for people to write their personal development goals on and then fold up and “let them fly”

There will be staffed market stalls, which will be in person at the following sites/times

• Nuneaton - Tuesday 13 May. Sessions at 10:00-11:00 and 14:00-15:00 ( Location next to staff canteen )
• Mercia - Tuesday 13 May. Sessions at 10:00-11:00 and 14:00-15:00 (Location TBC)
• Coventry (Beresford Avenue)- Wednesday 14 May. Sessions at 10:00-11:00 and 14:00-15:00 (Location staff canteen)
• Cowley - Thursday 15 May. Sessions at 10:00-11:00 and 14:00-15:00 (Location Academy, 1st Floor)
• Doncaster - Thursday 15 May. Sessions at 10:00-11:00 and 14:00-15:00 (UKRRIN)

There will also be unstaffed stalls available at many other sites. Please speak to your local HR team for further details
