Unipart House Celebrates 50 Years

Unipart House colleagues gathered to celebrate Unipart's 50th anniversary! The two-day event was filled with fun and laughter, bringing together employees from across the business to mark this incredible milestone.

These events were hosted by Jo Matson, Head of Internal Communications and Engagement and Alice Bridle, Director of Strategic Planning and Execution, both of which brought an extra sparkle to the event with their sequin jackets!

Day One Highlights

All were welcomed into the event, which started off with the animated video showcasing the 50 years of Unipart’s history. The event also focused on the Unipart Way Forward and PDM aims, emphasising the company's commitment to continued success and growth. A key highlight of the first day was a speech given by John Neill, who shared insights and anecdotes about Unipart's journey and his personal career highlights. Colleagues enjoyed listening to John’s memories and were able to wish him well for his retirement, enjoying a celebratory cake, 50th cupcakes and light refreshments.

Networking and Fun

There was a competitive spirit to both days as colleagues participated in an early festive quiz that asked Christmas questions related to some of Unipart’s milestone years in its proud history. As well as a game of "Higher or Lower", testing their Unipart knowledge with not only the card statistics but also spotlight questions around core sectors and capabilities, where winners of the games got either chocolates or tins of festive biscuits.

Both events concluded with enough time for networking with other colleagues, fun games including ‘Giant Jenga’, ‘Kuplunk’, ‘Connect Four’ and ‘Unipart World Tour Top Trumps’. As well as plenty of photo opportunities where colleagues could take the opportunity to take group photos.

A Milestone Marked

The 50th-anniversary celebration at Unipart House served as a reminder of the company's enduring strength and the dedication of its employees.

All roadshow celebrations across sites have now concluded, and what a fantastic series of roadshow celebrations they have been! There will be some final roundup blogs coming soon from Nuneaton, JCB and BAC. Thank you to all who facilitated these events and made them happen.
