Movember Winner Announced!

Last month colleagues from across the business focussed on growing monumental moustaches!
Of course, this wasn't just to keep their faces warm during the winter months, but for Movember - a movement that raises money for men’s health, driving awareness of prostate cancer, testicular cancer and male suicide.
Between them, they raised over £2,100 - a 'tashtastic achievement!!
After some hairy competition Allan Smith, the Head barber at Youngmans, a luxury barbershop and men’s grooming brand, made the final judgement on our colleagues' fine facial hair.
Although a close shave, we are delighted to announce that Jonathan Willet won by a hair!

"We picked Jonathan as our Movember winner as his moustache is very similar to that of Colonel Pat Quinlan, the commander of the Irish UN peacekeepers at the 1961 Siege of Jadotville in the Democratic Republic of Congo"
Jonathan was delighted to win, and explained why taking part in Movember was so important to him.
"The reason I wanted to take part is because testicular cancer is the most common cancer in men under 40 with prostate cancer being the second most common cancer in men worldwide. I felt I should do something to help change this statistic.
I know that men can be stubborn and are happy to ignore the little things so I wanted to use this opportunity to create a talking point for men's health and encourage them to reach out if they need to. No matter how small you think it may be, talk about it.
I am very overwhelmed by all of the donations that we all received especially during the uncertain times that we are currently going through so thank you very much to everyone for supporting such a great cause!"
Congratulations to Jonathan - we are sure he will be itching to claim his prize of a complimentary shaving kit and a full-service visit to Youngmans barbershop!

It was great to see colleagues from all across the business finding creative ways to take part in Movember!
