The repair team at Nuneaton felt that they were using too many parts to fix a certain phone, and despite them actually working to the manufacturers specifications, decided to run an OCC to see if they could reduce this.

After some work, they identified that instead of the sixteen separate parts the manufacturer had specified for the job, they only really needed two.

Armed with this information, they approached the manufacturer with their solution, who accepted the revised repair process. The old process cost them £132 for parts, the new process that the team agreed with just two parts came in at 45 pence.
