Mark in Action Winner's Stories - Neil Pinnell

May 7th, 2024 Katie Geddes

In the second of our videos celebrating Mark in Action winners of the last 35 years, we spoke to Neil Pinnell, Health & Safety Manager at Unipart Logistics Cowley.

Neil has received three Mark in Action awards. He won his first award in 2017 for organising client tours at the Cowley site in addition to his day job, and in 2020 he received two awards at the same ceremony. The first of these was in recognition of his work implementing The Unipart Way at a homeless shelter where he was volunteering. His second was as part of the Q Cells team, nominated by the customer for their help solving issues arising from a sudden influx of product at the start of the Covid pandemic.

Neil talks about his pride in receiving these awards and his experience of attending a Mark in Action ceremony at Unipart House.

There is still time to submit your Mark in Action nominations for consideration for the next ceremony on Thursday 4 July, so if there is an individual or group in your team who you think deserves recognition please send in your nomination by using here by Wednesday 22 May.

If you aren't sure whether your story is a Mark in Action or not, just contact me and I would be happy to advise and support you through the process.
