CARE Award winner - Sukh Sangha

The CARE Awards were a special occasion to recognise and honour our colleagues who consistently demonstrated our core CARE behaviours in their daily work. These awards served as a testament to the commitment, achievement, and genuine passion our team members bring to our organisation.
As we conclude our series of CARE Award winner spotlights, we're celebrating Sukh Sangha from Mercia Park, who received the Encouraging and Inclusive CARE Award. This award highlights the importance of creating a workplace where everyone feels valued and heard.
The Encouraging and Inclusive Award
The Encouraging and Inclusive Behaviours CARE Award recognises colleagues who create a supportive and welcoming environment. They ensure everyone's voice is heard, celebrate achievements, and encourage contributions from all team members.
As Vicki Hooper, Chief People Officer, who presented this award shared on the night:
"In my role I know that, in order to have engaged colleagues who want to go above and beyond for our customers, and a fantastic culture where everyone is able to contribute, it is vital that we have colleagues demonstrating encouraging and inclusive behaviours.
The next award recognises the colleagues in Unipart who do just that. These are the colleagues who include everyone - making sure that others’ voices are heard and who are supportive to a wide and diverse range of colleagues. These are the ones that hold other colleagues up, and celebrate them when they have done well and who always encourage others to contribute."

Sukh’s nomination
Sukh was recognised by his Team leader, Michael Dunne for his commitment to fostering an inclusive atmosphere. His nomination highlighted his efforts to support a diverse range of colleagues and ensure everyone feels valued.
Sukh's dedication to creating a positive and inclusive workplace made him a deserving winner of this award.
